Brooklyn teen charged with assaulting cop in KJ

A 19-year-old Brooklyn man has been charged with assaulting a police officer and other offenses for his role in an egg-and-bottle-throwing melee Monday that involved as many as 200 people, state police said.
Troopers say they chased Joel Farkas after seeing him throw eggs and struggled to subdue him, leaving one trooper with minor injuries. Farkas was arraigned in Monroe Town Court and released; the other charges were resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration and disorderly conduct.
The fracas began around 2 p.m. Monday when Orange and Rockland Utilities workers started to remove decorative lights that had been strung between poles in preparation for the wedding that night of Rabbi Aaron Teitelbaum’s granddaughter.

GOOOD!!!!

What incite? My 18 year old knows how to behave.

why refer to him as a kid? He's tzatmir and 19. He probably has 2 children of his own.

This was a planted troublemaker by the Zalmanie Crew to MAke the Aaronie crew look bad!! The Aaronie council are meeting now planning how to retaliate against this Zalmanie Attack!!

The scariest statement among these comments is the last: "My 18 year old knows how to behave" - is it now a chidush in our community that an 18 year old - someone ready to marry and have his own children - knows how to behave, especially vis-a-vis the authorities? There have been too many incidents lately of yidden acting with impunity against the civil law(this incident, killing cattle at a yeshiva, sneaking over borders, etc) - and then calling the gov't "anit-semitic" when called to task.

What a shame on r'aron satmar rabbi from KJ !
