Right Now! - Police red light trap on 17th Avenue and 53rd Street
A Police car with a lone Officer is parked on the corner of 17th Avenue and 53rd Street in Boro-Park and is waiting to catch cars that pass the red light. The Police car is parked on the avenue facing the lower number streets and is pulling over cars that pass the light on street. Drive safely and courteously! Do not pass red lights and you won't get a ticket.

this is the same jerk that sits by the library by Ryder Avenue his plates are 1620. This guy is gonna lie in court if you try to fight any of his tickets.

If you run a light you deserve a ticket. To the poster - what if it was your kid who (chas vshalom) would get run over by someone who ran a light?

I hate that cop he goes up and down 16th Avenue a whole day looking for people on their cell phones... He just drives around giving out tickets a whole day in BP!! Be carefull if you ever see 1620!!

I hope that he continues for a very long time looking to ticket people on their cellphones. He is doing a real service to me and my family because you don't have the decency to obey the law so that lives can be preserved. You're just too busy.

1620 gave me a ticket for not wearinga seat belt when indeed I was! U may not belive me, and my wife wouldn't either unless she where sitting right next to me in shock of what happened. He stopped me and said that 2 blocks ago he saw me cross 14th Ave not wearing a seatbelt. I was warned by all my friends that if i go to court I should be prepared to loose. He lies, and lies, and does whatever it takes to get you. We need red light traps, and cops stopping you for cell phones. It's my kids in this community too. We do not however need cops that are here to terrorise and falsly accuse and ticket people because he had a bad day with his wife!

Halevai there was more traps for passing red lights and talking on a cellphone.
If you do either, you are endagering the lives of people, especially our people and children.
You deserve that ticket, and much more.

Shame on you for posting this information. It is a good thing that such people get caught and fined. You guys are siding with the bad guys (those that talk on the cell phone and/or jump red light), rather than the good guys (the police).
And they are not anti-semites - they are doing their job!

If you feel you were wrongly ticketed and moreover will lose in court, you need to file a formal complaint with the city. Otherwise this guy will continue to harrass.
