He probably makes more money than many people today.

Nebech- this poor old, JEWISH former resident of the Soviet Union works 7 days a week doing his rounds. Even when approached to stop on Shabbos and Yom Tov, herefuses. Nebech, he is also not quite in gantzen, mentally.

An honest living and a valuable service. Nothing to complain about as long as he leaves things clean.

YOU COULD BESURE THAT HE DIDNT LOOSE MUCH MONEY IN THE STOCK MARKET

who do you think g-d has more respect for, this old jew who is working and earning a living by the sweat of his brow,or from some
young knacker sitting on his behind all day in some kollel, drinking coffee and tea all day,and thinking up some more chumrus to make life miserable for his fellow jews?

chaim

He is kinda wacky. I see this man almost everyday near me. He walks in middle of the street stopping traffic and causing cars to swerve around him.

Actually it is illegal (believe it or not) to take returnable bottles and can's from other people's trash. People have been arrested and even had their cars impounded for this.

Chaim you seem to have a chip on your shoulder. Did yuo ever think of seeing a therapist? You have issues! Stop living in denial.

Every Sunday on my way to Shoprite I nearly hit him. He stops sporadically to adjust his load and it really is a miracle this guy is walking around on his own two feet. How about the other nut with the golf ball glasses sifting through Midwood's garbage on a daily basis?
