Better call for home delivery

Thanks to the repeated spray-painting, no longer will we see men bent over reading the Times on the way to Shul Shabbos morning.

Comments:
Can you read "EFFECTIVE MONDAY THIS MACHINE WILL NO LONGER BE IN SERVICE" Must have to do with the latest price increase.

what a chillul hashem

I get home delivery but I always find people bent over my steps.

B'H. One less anti-semitic rag to read.

Can someone remind me what the problem of looking at the headlines was?

What is wrong with looking at the head line. For years and years there was one right by Mir Yeshiva at Ocean Parkway and Ave R. R' Miller used to look at it every day. I even saw him many times bent over reading it. It just so happened that a few months after his petira, the new your times removed it.

I beleive that the NY Times was going to remove the vending machines anyways as a cost cutting measure. They haven't been doing to great lately. But while we are on the subject... Right in front of my house there are vending machines for the NY Times, the Daily News and the NY Post. Now, I am careful not to bring these rags into my house in order to protect my children. I strongly resent that these rags are thrust in front of my kids at my place of residence. I tried to have them removed by the usual means, but to no avail. It seems like these machines get special priveleges due to first amendment protections.

While I don't condone vandelism I am silently glad that market forces are now forcing these rags out from in front of my face.

maybe the times can write on the headlines tomorrow "watch out for lipa haters"
