Dicci Middle East or how the Boro-Park zealots would like it to look

Comments:
ENOUGH WITH DICCI!

I hear that Shloime Gertner backed out of The Big Event. Is this a rumor or true?

pure talent, Chaptzem.........

Dicci caters to a chassidishe clientele. The clothing are modest & tzniusdig. Those who object to the store should instruct their wives not to shop there and NOT break windows. As a life long Borough Parker I will NOT stand idly by as a Taliban type organization is established here. Those of you who feel you have the right to bully people and destroy private property, know that we will not be intimidated. You are all criminals.

Put up cameras with silent alarm , catch the hoodlum and waterboard him in his favorite mikva.ill be the first to buy a ticket for this event.

Chaptzem, your point is great! There is no prominent Rav (Chassidishe or not) that agrees with what theyre doing. I once heard from a rebbe of mine that the way you know if someone's zealousness is L'sheim Shamayim is if he has this Midah by everything else. I dont know forsure but I doubt these "zealots" consulted with Da'as Torah in the least bit of a (cough) "zealous" manner. Ill be Dun L'Kaf Zechus that their spiritual education wasnt so up to par has therefore caused these nebachs to come up with Krum conclusions...No person with an ounce of straight torah in his head would even think of doing such a horrible thing like that.

Its arguable that the storefront is a problem with tznius. Maybe this will enlighten the subject.

Someone once approached R' Yaakov Kamenetzky regarding a store that exhibited women's clothing in its front display; which he felt was inappropriate.

R' Yaakov asked him, "Is the clothing all tznius?" to which he replied,"Yes". R' Yaakov said, "if thats what their product is and its tznius, whats worng with displaying their product?" (I dont know the exact wording of the conversation, however the result was exactly how I described it).

Ive never even heard Dicci before this whole scandal and Ive still never seen it, however, the point is that if you listen to Da'as Torah, you never go wrong. Im not a posek --not even close-- Im just stating the facts, look at them and decide for yourself.

I remain,

A non-perfect Jew

I love those blue outfits. Gotta send my rebbetzin there to buy one, or more.
