Construction of a residential tower in Boro-Park

A person builds his house up an additional three floors over the existing two floors, which are standard for the homes in that area, at 53rd Street and 12th Avenue.

Thank you Pinky for the pics

So!!

WOW!!! thats moredig, please bring more pictures!

Thanks You, Gevalding! job welldone!

How the hell does someone get a permit for that?

very good!!! I'm happy...atleast someone is getting a big house.

Its not the owner that's to blame its the zoning that allows it that is the problem.
Recently the zoning was changed to allow Maimonides to build, and so a few block radius got the same rules.
They can now go up to 5 stories but you need clearance in the back. If you look at this house, the rear extension is quite a few feet narrower than the rest of the house.

who the heck cares!!!
the frum culture, which you make fun of, is to be noisy in things such as this!!

So? So, the open violation of Buildings and Zoning chokes off the light and air in our community!

Well I think: all those board people, who don’t have anything better to do with there, time, but rather say,” The open violation of Buildings and Zoning chokes off the light and air in our community!” I say GET A LIFE!! Bug off & Mind your own business

You know? I agree Buzz off and mind your own business yentas!!
The only apprehension I would have if I owned a home there is does it effect my value?
